Who fucking films their cat puking on the carpet and doesn't bother moving it or throwing newspaper underneath it?

Having shown this to the resident cat person at work, I believe it stems from having to clean up cat puke so often that one more doesn't matter. Pristine vid worth more in this day and age.

As a cat person, I despise messes. Maybe I'm just a person-cat?

It really doesn't matter.
I gave up on 'catching' it a long time ago. Now if the cat is going to puke, I let it happen and clean it up right away. Same difference.

This would be accurate. After the first couple times it goes from 'ew no no no no no puke on this' to 'god damnit not again. Let it out so I can clean it up'
To be fair though, a healthy cat with a proper diet shouldn't get sick or have hairballs very often. My cat might get sick once every few months, but it's really rare now that I feed her 'indoor' formulated food, which helps prevent hairballs.
